Yes corticosteroid sprays take a couple of week to really kick in. I was on Nasonex and am currently on Flonase. They used to work well for me but since starting on CPAP have become less and less effective.
What time of day do you take your Flonase? I use take it in the morning, but when the RT from the sleep lab was setting me up with my first BiPAP ST, she said its best to take it night, when you're using an xPAP. I try to remember to use it when I start getting ready for bed, so I don't end up having to take it just before I put my mask on.

The cumulative effect of hydrocortisone sprays (Flonase) over some days time is what makes them effective; so the time of day you use it is based on what is convenient for you. You should use it at approximately the same time each day.

I used to take it in both the morning and the evening. With my recent nasal issues my Dr. recommended that I take it only in the morning as it may contribute to drying out my nose.
