As befits my message board nickname, I picked feeling rested most days. (Actually ALL days from the very first day after starting cpap.) It's been almost a year and a half now - I've not slept one moment - not one, nap or anything, without having the mask on and machine going. It made that big a difference in how rested I felt, that I'd never be without it for sleeping.

I am 1 1/2 yrs and I still don't feel fully rested but I don't want to sleep late, I get much more sleep, still need coffee in the afternoon, but mood swing 100 percent to the better, no depression, better sexual drive, more drive and energy enought to start my own business when I Was headed to disability. On and on

After my sleep study didn't stop going for 3 days. I never had that much energy.

Now at work when everyone falls asleep during break I just keep going. But they are quick t say that have sleep apnea. Right guys. Illlo remember that.

Well, it wasn't a choice in the poll, but the first improvement was not having to get up and pee every 70 minutes all night long. The cessation of snoring is pretty good, too.

to be honest, the lot, all at once, so I'm not voting, I couldn't say which - I can only say how rotten I felt before and how alive I felt after....

Me too. The great thing about relief from frequent nighttime urination is that it offers instant evidence that something is happening. It may not be the most important benefit, but it gives you hope while waiting for improvements that emerge more gradually to kick in.
