after 5-6 months on the resmed and oxygenator I have low level nose bleeds occurring. They aren't the type that actually flow but when blowing my nose there is evidence. My CPAP unit has the attached humidifier and I use the auxiliary heat unit in it once furnace/woodstove season started. The blood seems to have small clots in it. Does anyone else have this problem? I'm wondering if it might be connected to some of the meds I take (ten at least once a day). It seems to clear up during the day. I'll be calling doctor soon I guess just to be safe.

Coumadin, Warfarin, Plavix, Heprin, or Aspirin are the most commonI'm wondering if it might be connected to some of the meds I take (ten at least once a day).
nose bleed drugs.
I take Coumadin and Plavix. I MUST use the heated humidifier to
keep from bleeding to death.
+ Aussie heated hose.

Oldgearhead sounds as if he has covered the subject fairly well.
I have bleeding disorders and bleeding from the nose was one of my symptoms. As a child, I was the queen of nosebleeds. Some would be mild, and others would be 'gushers'.
While not the same type of nosebleeds as yours, if there is anything that I can do to help with the nose bleeding, please PM me. It can be a real bummer, can it not? Yet--it is also a very nice little warning sometimes, as in the case of high blood pressure, a need for humidity, or helping to diagnose a bleeding disorder!
Best wishes in your efforts to control this condition.
