I run about 1.2, last I checked. The very fact that I am no longer obsessively checking each day must be a good sign, right?

After 71 nights on CPAP my 71 night average AHI is 11.7 but 11.3 of that 71 night average are HIs.
That's the reason I have this AutoPap loaner.
During my sleep evaluaton study my AHI was 23.9 of which only 1.9 were hypopneas.
My titration studies were no help: 42 minutes one night, 98 minutes the second night. So we've been working on a guestimate for pressure for these 71 nights.

I had not kept a running average AHI, but became curious after seeing this topic so I calculated one 30 day average [11-09 through 12-08] and obtained an average of 1.49 for that period which I suppose is satisfactory.
Since the averages to choose in the poll were in whole numbers I rounded up and chose 2 for my average.

pre-PAP = 102
AHI average now is 2.2 w/ AI about 0.1 ... I do get a few AI to = 0.0 on occasion but still waiting to get that elusive AHI of 0.0 at least once.

100 days 2.2 (I rounded down to 2 for the vote)
Have been below 1 only on very rare occasions. My auto is set 5-6 (was titrated at 7). If I go above 6 I have painful aerophagia and have to remove the mask. Still have it at 5-6 but I can live with it--most of the time. and use the mask all night.

I'm very jealous of you all I struggle to keep my AHI below 5. I saw my ENT specialist again today and was discussing the situation with him. He again pointed out that I have an unusually long uvula and that he thinks I should get it removed (via LUAP). He said he doesn't usually recommend that anymore but in my case thinks I should. In fact while examining me the called in all his med students to have a look since its so umm freakishly long...
