Not a pro, but I think once a week will probably be often enough to get it all. However, if you want to really be on the safe side, I'd download once every five days at least.Alisha wrote:A question for all of you pros: Will I need to be sure I download at least once a week to keep from losing detail? I don't want to lose any more because for several months at least I want detail, detail!

Here is how Respironics responded to my question about missing data.
The Card should record everyday. The machine writes to the card when it powers down. If your machine's power down cycle is interrupted that can effect the way that data is written. The only other cause could be that the card is not properly inserted in the CPAP machine.

I know of no reason for my machine to have interruption in the power down cycle. Anybody care to explain how that could happen?
I always check the placement of the card as part of the night sequence of getting ready to sleep. (Started that after I forgot to put the card back once.)
This may be another issue that they need to hear about enough times to act on it. Will other people please write to them? Thanks.
