Hello!
I've been receiving treatment for 4 years now and up until yesterday I was using a Philips System One Auto Cpap with a quattro Fx full face..
I was getting paranoid that my System One would die on me so after having another sleep study I bought a DreamStation Auto I'm still using the same mask.
Thanks to Google and this forum I have come across sleepyhead which I never knew existed and I have one question.. My sleep study gave me a AHI of 79 and its now gone down to less than 2 normally 1.5 but last night it went down to 0.8.. I'm guessing that's a good thing?
I never had a pressure actually proscribed to me in the last sleep study which I had done in the UAE as I now live there, the previous sleep study was done 4 years ago when I lived in the UK and I just set the dreamstation up for a minimum pressure with the same as my system one with no max should I be bothered about not being given a proscribed pressure?
Many Thanks!
New but not new...
Re: New but not new...
Should show sleepyhead data for best results.
Minimum pressure is most important and Max needs to be higher then needed.

Re: New but not new...
I am currently in work so unable to post it..
My max is set as the machine max and minimum I set at 10 the reason for doing so is my System one often showed it was at 10 or 11 my new dreamstation shows that it is at 11.5 90% of the time if I recall correctly..

Re: New but not new...
So basically everything I have done is correct and I'm getting the right results? That's comforting to know! Thanks!
Re: New but not new...
It means 'at or BELOW 11 for 95% of the night.
Re: New but not new...
Yes.
And if you are sleeping good and feeling good then I would just sit back and enjoy the ride.
If you want to dig deeper into understanding your results you can but with an AHI less than 1.0 and feeling good and sleeping good...probably not going to be much there that needs work.
Welcome to the forum.
