My first night with Remstar Auto

Post by spartan » Fri Dec 15, 2006 3:01 pm

Yesterday, I finally got my remstar M series Auto with C-flex and a hybrid mask. Putting the mask was a challenge. Once I had it strapped, it was in place for the whole night. I read some people are not happy with hybrid mask, but I found it to be comfortable.

Overall I am very happy with remstar auto. C-Flex is extremely cool technology. It was my first night with mask,. It took me just 15-20 mins to fall asleep, and I didn't get up even once until morning!! I had my humidifier setting at 3. By morning, it was almost empty.Whatever algorithm remstar uses it is working for me.

Thanks to every one who recommended remstar auto to me. It is a great machine..

I have this machine as a loaner (no humidifier tho) and I can't remember when I've fallen asleep so fast and so comfortably. Unfortunately, w/no humidifier that didn't last. I'm hoping the sleep lab can convince the DME to loan me a humidifier as well or this autopap rental is a waste of good money.

I was astounded how Q-U-I-E-T this RemStar Auto w/C-Flex is!!! The only way I could tell it was on was to check for the air coming from the mask! I think I could like this PAP machine a LOT if I had a humidifier w/it!
