I use a Tap Pap mouthpiece-type mask (fits on upper teeth) and I brush the mouthpiece with my Sonicare toothbrush occasionally. Rinse mouthpiece and nasal pillows with warm water every day and air dry. Once every couple weeks I soak everything in white vinegar diluted about 3 parts water : 1 part vinegar. From the sound of this thread, Dawn might be better than vinegar, but it seemed to work for 6 years or whatever it has been.

Those of you using baby wipes, unscented or not, have you looked closely at the packaging? I've yet to find one that does not contain lanolin or some other type of lotion which puts the oil that I'm trying to get off the FFM cushion right back on it. I evidently have oily skin, which causes my seal to leak anytime I don't get it off.

If you know of one that doesn't contain lotion of some sort, please let me know. I'm tired of paying $12.95 + shipping for a jug of real mask wipes.

The oil within baby wipes ia such a low concentration, not a concern.

The official RESMED CPAP Wipes contains oil based extracts as well:
  • Water
  • Glycerin
  • Coco-glucoside (oil based)
  • Tocopherol (oil based)
  • Aloe barbadensis leaf extract
  • Gluconolactone
  • Sodium benzoate
  • Citric acid
  • Dehydroacetic acid
  • Chamomilla recutita (matricaria) extract (oil based)
