If you can't get the Airfit P10 mask to seal, I second that the Dreamwear 'Gel Pillow' version of that mask is very nice, and works well.jagzoo wrote: ↑Thu Feb 22, 2018 9:28 pmHave you tried either the F&P Brevida or the Dreamwear Gel pillows? Both are very comfortable, and don’t leak ( for me anyway) turning side to side. The Brevida is easier to fit I think - just different size pillows. For the Dreamwear there are 2 sizes for the headgear ( most people use the M, which is the default, but I needed a S) and the the size of the pillow. But they both work great. If you don’t have insurance you can see if our sponsors are offering either of them with return insurance. Best to give them a call. Also Amazon carries some masks.

Re: Good Nasal Pillow Mask to Try?
Thank you for the suggestions. I have the Brevida on hand and will try it again. I am interested in the Dreamwear Gel pillows and will try that one. The whole reason I wanted to go with the pillow mask is that I am getting irritation on my nose from the ResMed N20 and many nights have high leaks. I will continue the search. Thank you so much for your thoughts.

Re: Good Nasal Pillow Mask to Try?
Just ordered the Dreamwear Gel mask from Cpap.com. I will report on success! or failure. I have a suspicion this will be great. Thank you everyone for your suggestions. I appreciate it.

Re: Good Nasal Pillow Mask to Try?
hi, beerus. the forum sponsor, cpap.com, often offers return insurance on it's masks. it's been awhile, but i think they will charge a slight fee for this insurance, which allows you to return the mask within 30 days for a refund if it doesn't work out.
you may want to visit the site and see what they have on offer.

Re: Good Nasal Pillow Mask to Try?
If the Gel pillow you try seems to want to go or climb up a bit inside your nose a little too easy, you are going to want to go to the next larger size or it'll hurt you.

Re: Good Nasal Pillow Mask to Try?
Thank you for the suggestion. Regarding affording to buy different masks, I have bought several from Cpap.com that came with free insurance. When the masks did not work i simply sent them back. Only one did I have to purchase insurance for and I think that was about $25 for the insurance which was worth it to me to try. Getting my DME to let me try different masks has proven to be impossible.

Re: Good Nasal Pillow Mask to Try?
I'm back to the ResMed N20 because the Dreamwear gel nasal mask also leaked terribly for me no matter what I did. I sure wish I could find a nasal mask that doesn't leak as much but I have not. I am a side sleeper and flip from one side to the other all during the night. I think the head gear on the N20 does well because it has the two heavy duty straps around the head. It is almost perfect except for the sores it sometimes makes on the sides of my nose and the strap marks it often leaves on my face.

Re: Good Nasal Pillow Mask to Try?
Exactly when does the mask leak?lathnos46 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 12, 2018 12:04 pmThank you, everyone. I appreciate you weighing in. I've now got the ResMed P10 and am trying it. The first two nights I used the small cushion with big leakage. Last night I tried the Medium cushion but I think it's the wrong size for me. I will look at the videos you suggested now. Thank you again.
When lying on your back with the mask on and at your pressure, does the mask leak? If so, pull the mask away and reseat. If still leaking, try a different size.
If the leaking occurs while you are sleeping, is it the mask or is it your mouth that is leaking when in deep sleep?
If it is the mask that is leaking, did the straps move or is the bed pillow pushing against the mask pillow?
Are you using sleepyhead to look at the leak rate information?

Re: Good Nasal Pillow Mask to Try?
Have you tried the Nuance Pro nasal pillow mask? It uses the same gel pillows as the Dreamwear but, having used both, I have much more success with the Nuance Pro. Most nights with the NP, I have 0 leaks. I am trying the Dreamwear again (two nights now) and can't seem to get leaks under control. I will give it a few more days, but if it doesn't get better, I will go back to the Nuance. If you liked the feel of the gel pillows, you may want to try it out!
Good luck, I know finding a mask is really tough!

Re: Good Nasal Pillow Mask to Try?
Thank you for the suggestion. I have not tried the Nuance nor the Nuance Pro. I think those may be the only pillow masks I have not tried. I do like the look of the headgear with that one. I just don't know if I would need the Pro or the regular. I have thick hair past my shoulders and that is I believe one reason the other headgears have not worked for me. I need the two straps. How would I know whether to go with the Pro or the regular Nuance? Thank you! Love this forum!

Gosh, that is a really tough question! I started with the Nuance Pro because my husband had an extra one lying around.lathnos46 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 14, 2018 7:37 amThank you for the suggestion. One problem I have with it, which you probably won't, it that the back strap slides up the back of my head. But I have short, fine, thin, silky/slippery hair. Much too short to put in a ponytail to try to stabilize the strap. I tried, one night, to put just the top part in a tiny, itty bitty ponytail (maybe half the diameter of dime--very fine, thin hair!) and woke up a couple of hours later feeling like I was being scalped! The pull of the strap up was stronger than my ponytail!

Re: Good Nasal Pillow Mask to Try?
Thank you for the suggestion for this mask. I have only used it for a couple of nights and already I like that it is so light, unobtrusive and comfortable. I think it is a winner for me. I have not checked out sleepyhead yet but I can usually tell by how I feel and how I slept and I do follow Resmed MyAir and have gotten good scores. Thumbs up!
