Brevida Nasal Pillows - seal?

Anyone tried the Brevida Nasal Pillows mask and had issues with sealing? The mask is soft and I think the pillows sink in so you have to make sure they are stretched out at first. I tried using it and air was blowing everywhere so I just gave up for the night. I'm trying again tonight.

I have tried the Brevida several times, i finally went to the small size, and taping my mouth followed by a fuzzy head band on my mouth , and i am finally getting low AHI number and low leaks.

Maybe you are using the wrong size pillows for it.

The Brevida is virtually leak proof on me. Just goes to show no mask fits two people the same.

Over the past several months of using the Brevida, I have come to the conclusion that the technique of putting the mask on is key to initial leak management. I have found the optimal process is to not put the head gear on first. Rather, I use the auto-start function of the AS10 and with the straps lying over my hand facing away from my face, I place the pillows into my nares while slightly separating the wings. Breathing normally, the machine should start within a few seconds; I then pull the headgear over my head and get the straps sorted out. The point of all this is to allow the wings to inflate fully before dealing with the straps. The process leads, naturally enough, to the realization that the mask functions best if the straps lie softly on the face - just enough to capitalize on the wings inflated structure in maintaining the seal.

I have no problems with the Brevida. I set the straps on the verge of being loose and just position my head for a good seal.

I get a small leak as I roll over but it quickly settles down and is not a problem.
