ComfortFull Full Face Mask does it require addon exhalation?

Post by Shiva » Thu Dec 14, 2006 4:08 pm

Hi,

My dad is suffering from COPD. And is using Respironics Bipap Pro.

He requires a full face mask and is considering ComfortFull 2 Full Face Mask. Till now he have been using Respironics Spectrum Disposable Mask.

He wants to know if he will require seperate exhalation port (something like resperonics whisper sweivel) with this mask, or he can connect it directly to the Respironics tubing.

Also will it be possible to add a Oxygen inlet to this mask.

Thanks,

Shiva

He shouldn't have to add an exhalation port. I have a Comfortfull Mask (not 2 though) and it comes with the port. It also is set up to add an oxygen line. If you go to Cpap.com you can look at masks there, click enlarge and you can get a good look at them. They also lists the specs. Plus you can buy them there direct!
