Indomethicin and Sleep Apnea

Post by Jerseyguy » Sat Dec 23, 2017 1:30 pm

I'm on Indomethicin for gout and while I haven't had any major flare ups in a while I had a minor one earlier. With Indomethicin a anti inflammatory does it worsen Sleep Apnea should I be worried about taking it at Night?

There's nothing in indomethicin that I can think of to maybe affect the airway soft tissues and make them more saggy or floppy or worsen OSA.

Now if you were taking some sort of muscle relaxer or opiate medication then maybe a different story.
