spike in pressure settingi

Post by AMESS » Sat Dec 09, 2017 9:14 pm

Since I started this so called journey (in Sept) all my masks (12 of them) have been running about 14. Machine is set 5-20

Suddenly I get the Dreamwear and the pressure spikes to 20. Is there something I should know about Dreamwear? I can feel the change, wakes me and then I take it off.

thoughts here?? Thanx

Is the pressure actually rising or is the volume of air increasing? There is a difference. If you're having leaks, the volume of air will increase as the machine tries to maintain the pressure it was putting out as the leak began.
Pressures increase mainly due to responses to Flow Limitations and/or snores.
Look at your (Sleepyhead) reports and see what's happening at those times.

Are you getting effective therapy with a range of 5-20? Do you feel comfortable when it starts out?

Most people do NOT deal well with a wide open setting like that.

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?
