About 4 months ago I decided to give the Swift Nasal Pillows a try. After 3 years of using full-face masks (Ultra Mirage and F&P) I wanted something smaller, lighter and more unobtrusive. I loved the Swift and I slept great with it.
However, after a few weeks I noticed that my sinuses were often irritated. At first I thought it was allergies, but soon ruled that out. Then I tried increasing the humidity, but no change. Eventually I gave up on the nasal pillows and went back to my F&P full-face mask.
I am due for a new mask next month and I would really like to go back to a small, light, nasal interface. Any suggestions for making nasal pillows work better without the irritation? If not, I'd love some suggestions for great nasal masks.
Thank you!

The ComfortCurve is a nice interface. Your nose kind of rests on top of the one "pillow." What I like is that you don't have air shooting up your nose. It's more like you just breath in (sort of like the full face mask, but just for your nose). I've been using the Swift recently but I've found this really irritates my sinuses.

mask choice
I use the breeze nasal interface and love it, however I on occasion like to let my nares rest, I recently got a flex-fit 407 very lite weight and the head gear slides not the mask if you toss and turn. i love it as well...I am afraid trial and error is the name of the game. Good Luck with whatever you coose:roll:
