Wow. I just joined this! I can’t believe u told my whole life problems in your post. This has been goin on my whole life. I’ve been sober for almost 5 years and have cleared up everything from my past. Workin on everything to change. And for the last 3 years I’ve just learned that this GRINDING, APNEA. Is the real problem. I used the mask but still had symptoms .. so it took almost a year and a half to finally get a mouthguard. Which I broke both of them. Now through my dental surgeon he just came through with a more advanced one which pushes my jaw forward. But still so foggy and exhausted in the morning like my whole life. Now my only other option is tongue retaining device which I believe is what is really goin on. It’s so weird because i always sleep on my side but on rare occasion when I fall back asleep on my back sometimes I wake up feelin a little better. I just couldn’t believe all the symptoms u we’re having were the same as mine. I believe my tongue is falling back and making me grind like crazy. So seeing the Joe Rogan post gave me hope. Can u let me know if u got that device and if it helped. Thanx

You have fallen into the wrong post. It's only adding to all the misinformation you already have, and you have a lot of misinformation.

The OP's enlarged tonsils and adenoids are probably causing his breathing problems.

As for you, please schedule a consultation with a sleep doctor. She will look into your airway for problems. She will most likely schedule a sleep study for you. After the study, you most likely will be prescribed CPAP. CPAP is the gold standard for treating sleep-disordered breathing. Don't mess around. You are dealing with a serious health condition.

BTW, it's normal for newbies to have misinformation and big gaps in knowledge.
