I'm exhausted after 3 nights of new usage
I've only used the ResMed Air Sense 10 and F& T Brevida Nasal Pillow Mask for 3 nights. I have it set to Auto Ramp and not sleeping. I am soooo tired. I am trying to be compliant be using at least 4 hours per night but then removing and then falling asleep. I'm not uncomfortable with the mask and machine but somehow I must be. I read with the mask on before turning off the lights to get tired. But as tired as I am I lie awake for hours. Also I've noticed some air building up in my cheeks and that is bugging me.

Re: I'm exhausted after 3 nights of new usage
There's a techique that is often discussed here that helped me stop getting air in my mouth. Over time I was able to train my tongue to stayed sealed with suction pressed against the roof of my mouth. Air can't escape around it. Are you familiar with the free software Sleepyhead? There's info about it in the threads at the top of the page. It's not unusual when therapy is new for the settings to need a bit of tweaking before it is effective. If your pressure happens to be a bit lower than needed, it can be hard to fall asleep, like maybe the brain knows things are not ok. What are your pressure settings at this point? If your settings are working as they should, the mask removing will likely self resolve. If not, a bit of tape or a bandaid across a strap onto the cheek might cause enough discomfort to wake you enough to stop the unwanted removal. At 3 nights in, if you haven't yet thrown the mask against the wall in the middle of the might, you're doing better than some of us. Do you have any trouble falling asleep when not using the machine or is this a new issue?

Re: I'm exhausted after 3 nights of new usage
I'm fairly new to this, but I think I've figured out that this mostly comes down to a few things:
1) Finding the right mask for you. A lot of trial and error unless you get lucky.
2) Stopping mouth leaks. Everyone seems to have their own method. I recently found that if I wear a bottom teeth-only mouth guard (cheapie boil and bite from Amazon), it pushes my tongue up enough to keep it mostly sealed off.
3) Finding the right EPR setting. This takes some trial and error as well.
Keep it up, and try different things to see what will work for you!

Keep at it! 3 days is only just starting, it will get better over some weeks if you are persistent. Removing the mask for part of the night is not good plan, a better idea would be to just get up and do something else. When you get sleepy, put the mask back on and get a few more hours. Yes, it can be tough for a while, but you can get used to it.
