I have no problem importing the data directly from an SD card.
When I copy my SD card to my desktop, I can not import the data.
The SD card folder that is copied to the desk top is P-SERIES - importing it does nothing.
A subfolder has a numerical name - importing it does nothing.
The reason I need to do this is so that I can access copies of other people's folders.
Thanks

Re: Sleepyhead: How do you import a copy of an SD card
SleepyHead only knows to look for the main P-Series folder so not surprising trying to import from the sub folders isn't successful.
Can you try renaming the folder but instead of all caps try P-Series and see if that will work.
I have done what you are wanting to do and sometimes I was successful and sometimes I wasn't and I don't remember if all caps made a difference or not.
When it would fail and I couldn't get it done I would often just take a blank SD card and put a copy of that main folder (with all the contents) on to a blank SD card and import that way.
So it can be done but it was problematic for me at times and I never could figure out why but when I would put the folder on a SD card I could get it to work.

SUCCESS. Changing the folder name from P-SERIES to P-Series worked.Pugsy wrote:SleepyHead only knows to look for the main P-Series folder so not surprising trying to import from the sub folders isn't successful.
