Resmed Airsense 10 going crazy

Post by dave34236 » Mon Nov 20, 2017 8:07 pm

I had this problem in May and the retailer replaced my machine. It was a brand new machine. Now it happened again.

When I turn on the machine, the pressure is unbearable. I tried everything I know to reset the machine, change the starting pressure, etc. I have been using CPAPs for about twenty years and have never had a problem I could not fix- with a little help from looking here or getting phone support from the vendor.

Does anyone have a suggestion of something to check? I use it with a full face mask. This started a couple of weeks ago so I have been using an old machine in the meantime.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Dave

What model Airsense 10? What are the pressure settings? Are you using Sleepyhead Software? Do you use Ramp?

ResMed AirSense 10 Autoset with Integrated Humidifier. Settings are 4.0 and 8.0, Ramon set to five minutes. The first time it happened was in the middle of the night. This time that it started, it is immediately on start up.

I do not use SleepyHead. I just downloaded it. Since I have not used this machine in the last couple of weeks, the resmed site does not have any data.

Thanks for any assistance.

Thanks,
Dave
