CPAP machine and mask according prescription

Post by deyneko » Thu Nov 02, 2017 5:10 pm

Hi,
I live in Canada, but I want to buy CPAP machine and mask in US (http://www.secondwindcpap.com/). There is much, much cheaper and I don't have any insurance for it etc.

In my prescription only one short phrase: "CPAP Auto 5-18 H2O"

Will ResMed S10 AirSense AutoSet with EPR + be OK with the prescription?
Additionally, I would like to use ResMed AirFit P10 - is it OK with the pressure (I am not asking about comfort etc)?

My second choice
Machine: Respironics DreamStation Auto CPAP with Heated Humidifier - DSX500H11
Nasal pillow: ResMed Swift FX or Swift FX

Thank you in advance.

P.S. I don't have any other diseases or conditions. My weight is normal. I prefer to sleep on my side. I have a mustache and beard (Spanish style).

Yes, the ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet will be fine with your prescription settings.
And yes, the P10 mask will work just fine at any pressures.
Good choices.
