+1 ... I like your analogy. I've been visiting here for over 10 years and it has always been pretty much the same ... everyone has a view that someone else doesn't like.

The main difference around here, if any, is that the current expression of the national collective unconscious (which has been manipulated with a political correctness movement) is moving people into thinking that they have a right to be thin skinned (ie. not to be offended) ... a dumbing down of the population if you will.

People need to get over the fact that we cannot and never will have the same views of the reality in which we live. We are individuals and accepting one another without accepting another's views is OK.
