Hi cpaptalkers,
I need to replace my beloved Breeze as it has been discontinued. After researching and gathering data, I am down to 2 options, the Swift Fx OR the Airfit P10. Looking for opinions, both pro and con, on these 2 masks. This time I don't need other recommendations because I've already narrowed it down to one of these two. Three things I'm looking at:
1.I need the hose to route upward and over the top of my head, like a Mohawk.
2.I don't like to sweat under straps on my face or under silicone parts pressing on my upper lip (it's hot where I live) - so fewer things on my face is better.
3.Stability - I am a bit afraid that a "minimalist" mask will slip around.
Thank you! So much!

You will be able to route the hose up over your head with the Swift FX more easily than the P10.
It will take a bit of DIYing on your part to fix up something to put the hose through but it can be done. See what I did below.
There's really nothing to anchor the hose to on the P10 top strap.
In terms of the nasal pillows...the Swift FX pillows and the P10 pillows are very similar.
In terms of stability the Swift FX headgear offers more adjustability.

Re: Pros and Cons please: Swift Fx vs. Airfit P10 masks
I just tried both in the last few weeks.
P10 pros - I like the way the pillows fit. I felt it was easy to wash and disassemble
P10 cons - the short hose doesn't separate from the pillows
Swift FX pros - the top strap was adjustable, if you have a small head get the ladies model. I tried the regular model and was at the end of the adjustments - -all the parts/everything came apart
Swift FX cons - pillow fit was hit and miss - fitting the hose attachment to the pillows was tricky for me - there seemed to be a lot of parts
Both didn't work well for me because, I believe, the shape of my head. They both would ride up the back of my head. Even with my hair over the back/bottom strap.
To make either of these work I will have to try the original buff to hold them in place.
Of the two overall, I prefer the P10.

The Swift FX will let you do that, but you either need to add some kind of strap or use a Hose Buddy. Airfit works better (IMHO) with the hose down.
2.I don't like to sweat under straps on my face or under silicone parts pressing on my upper lip (it's hot where I live) - so fewer things on my face is better.
Both masks have pad-a-cheek available to prevent that.

I had slippage issues with my P10 and Swift FX. Adding the velcro to the back to sort of 'snug' it to your hair/head works well with the Swift. I haven't tried it with the P10. I really, really like the P10, but my head is too big for it. It put pressure on my nostrils. Not a problem for most people. The Swift FX was the device of choice pre-P10 availability.

Any reason the Dreamwear isn't on your list to try? It has the least material on the face of any mask I've seen and the hose is top mounted.apneaicinisrael wrote:Hi cpaptalkers,

I move around a lot in my sleep - mostly on my stomach, and it stays in place very well with fairly loose straps.
Phillips 960 AutoSV Paving Brick, Phillips Dreamwear Mask - Nothing is working.
