Going back on CPAP

Post by A MESS » Tue Sep 26, 2017 6:53 am

Going back to therapy tonight. Have been off CPAP for 5 days now as to get rid of my cold. Maybe not the best idea, ut was too uncomfortable sneezing and blowing nose. Using Dreamwear mask but have dumped the cushions. Too much leaking. Now going to use Dreamwear pillow/cushions. A struggle all the way.

I hope that you like the pillows. I hae used Nuance Gel pillows from the start and have had a good experience. When they put the mask on me, I immediately knew that would not work for me. The pillows were great though.

Excellent results. Some leaking but Dr said okay if numbers r good. 68
events per hr down to 3.5. Changed masks now 5 times and nose pieces 4 times. No more. Nightmare

Sunny--the whole things is a nightmare. I hope all my trial and errors with masks and nose pieces pays off. So far last night was the best with the Dreamwear mask and the pillow/cushion on the nose. However it took me a couple hrs to fall asleep thinking "will this work". I am my own worst enemy.

In time, you will learn to trust the machine and accept it as a normal part of your bed time routine.
