P10 - slip sliding away

Post by Cpapian » Sat Sep 23, 2017 12:11 pm

I am testing the AirFit P10 to see if I like pillows, which I do, but .....

My hair is to short now to put in a ponytail, so the elastic headband grabs my hair and together they have a little party on my head. Next thing I know, I am awake and the equipment has gone awol.

I tried making a headwrap. Some nights it kept them in line, other nights it joined them in partying.

Has anyone else had this problem and if so do you have suggestions to counteract?

Or alternatively, what pillow masks come with stable headgear. I had the AirFit N20 previously. It was a little big, but otherwise okay.

Take a look at the Swift FX nasal pillows from ResMed.
The pillows are very similar but the headgear has more adjustable stuff and is more stable.

Great. I couldn't remember the name. How does the original fit fit? They have a slim line now and I was wondering if that might be better.

Thanks, I was wondering about that one.

Velcro is your friend Place a small piece of stick on Velcro on the middle of your back strap, this will keep it from sliding up during the night, I`ve been doing this for the whole 3 or 4 years I`ve been using the P10.
Started cpap in 2010.. still at it with great results.

I have no experience with the slim line. Their website says it has a smaller diameter for people with smaller necks. I don't know how this would affect wearing it on your head. I wore it like the do rag they have illustrated under Ways To Wear. http://buffusa.com/buff-products/multif ... asmine-cru
