that is simply not true!
SleepyHead doesn't have it right when it comes to Respironics machines and the auto adjusting pressures. Mark even told me.
When it comes to leak reporting the machine trumps SleepyHead and we go by actual leak flags in the Events graph...those are machine made and not SleepyHead made. They would show up the same with an Encore report.

There is large leak but not "like crazy" and most of it is within the machines ability to compensate for.
24 L/min is NOT a suitable threshold for A Respironics machine. It's way too low and can cause unnecessary stress on a person.
That's a ResMed excess leak threshold...at minimum Respironics can handle 40 L/min excess only leak without a problem.

Yes, it is an ugly leak graph and yes there are some large leaks but about an hour maybe even 2 hours total but that leaves 5 hours with leaks within machine's ability to compensate.....that's not "crazy leak" and leaks are NOT the primary issue and are NOT the cause of the PB.
He could have a picture perfect leak line and I am 99.99999% sure that it wouldn't reduce the AHI or PB.
That's another problem and if it is what I suspect it is (and I hope I am wrong) then leaks are the least of his problems.

Is this any better?

I have been diagnosed with afib, and have had CHF a few times. I also have lymphoma, which is being treated with inbruvica. Afib is a known side effect. They are trying to determine the cause of the CHF, by ruling out heart disease. At this point it looks like its probably the afib.

No, not near what I need.
Doesn't look anything like the sample I posted does it?

I need you to
Pugsy wrote:For zoomed in section of PB.
Go to the Events tab and click on one of the event categories that has a lot of PB...then highlight and click on one single event in the green PB area but try to pick one in the middle of 3 or 4 other very close in time.
The graphs on the right will change to the level of zooming in we need...then get a screen shot.
Do this in addition to the basics above.
You probably should be making an appointment with your sleep doctor.
Given your situation and history...making setting adjustments from someone on the internet probably isn't the wisest of choices.

If your PB is PB as in Cheyne Stokes Respiration and I see the pattern that I don't want to see in the zoomed in graph (if you can get it done) then you need to go directly to your doctor and get all this evaluated.
Not all PB is Cheyne Stokes though...and that's why I want to see the pattern zoomed in...see the example I posted?
If you zoom in on your PB breathing flow rate...and it looks like the pattern I showed....call your doctor now.
Cheyne Stokes Respiration often shows up with CHF patients...you need to get your doctor on board.

I went to see the SA doctor, and he said not to worry about it. He said that the heart problems need to be treated and not the apnea/PB. The only thing that I can do from that standpoint is to keep using the CPAP. He lowered the upper pressure of the APAP range. He assured me that I don't need to focus on the AHI and the PB numbers, He said that the heart is being kept at a good rate with the heart meds, and that my oxygen saturation was fine. In the mean time, I feel ok if I stop freaking out about the numbers.

Okay...try to stop worrying about the numbers...I know it's hard but that's what you have to do.
