My favourite feature is Automatic On--I just put on my mask and don't need to push any buttons to start the machine because it then detects my breathing and turns itself on. There's Automatic Off, too, but I haven't used that yet.

Where did you find this setting? I don’t have that showing in my settings?!

What brand of machine do you use?
Auto On and Auto Off are 2 separate setting choices available in Respironics machines.
ResMed machines have something similar called SmartStart but turning on SmartStart takes care of both auto on and auto off....so one setting choice.
If you are using some other brand...I don't know how their auto on or off might work.

If you have a Dreamstation, the 'auto on', 'auto off', are found under "Device Settings". I only use 'auto on'. If your mask comes loose the machine will auto off. You won't know it during sleep. The 'auto on' stays on and the blowing air will probably wake or alert you that your mask is loose. Maybe.
