Cleansmart spray??? anyone use it
Re: Cleansmart spray??? anyone use it
I've always just washed my mask once a week, used unscented baby wipes on it in between. Takes me all of five minutes each time. Wash it, rinse, sit it out to dry. And the SoClean folks do say you need to wash your mask in addition to using their system. They even sell a product to use for cleaning it. I've never heard of Cleansmart. I might use it on other things around the house if I could get it locally and it wasn't more expensive than what I already use, but not on CPAP stuff.
I've been on cpap for over 10 years and my simple cleaning routine of just washing stuff by hand once a week or less has worked fine for me.

How many times did he have to "accidently" drop the case before it was "damaged"?Pugsy wrote: My husband a truck load a while back where Lysol foam cleaner was part of the load and a case of it was damaged and refused...no one wanted it...so now I have 24 cans of the stuff to use up. Works well enough for me and the smell fades quickly.

He just drives the truck. Someone else loaded it and someone else takes it off...he never touches the load in any way at all.StuUnderPressure wrote: How many times did he have to "accidently" drop the case before it was "damaged"?
What happened in this instance was the load shifted (fault of whoever stacked the pallets) and the cardboard box the bottles were in got damaged. Didn't hurt the bottles at all but the receiver wouldn't accept the damaged box. I got 24 cans....a lot more went to other people in the office. It was a BIG box.
It just happens sometimes...the shipper will write it off as it costs more to return one damaged case than it is worth.
I have got gallon jugs of mustard...barbeque sauce...ketsup...etc...along with various other cleaning stuff. Got 12 bottles of LimeAway which we use here with our hard water...got 24 bottles of the Old English wood oil in the dark color...which I still have 3 or 4 left.
I used a bunch to stain the ceiling wood on my front porch. Saved me from having to buy regular stain.
Not long ago there was several cases of some sort of household product damaged and the shipper said "dump it"...it was stuff we couldn't/wouldn't use and he needed the room in the trailer for his next load but around the corner was a homeless shelter and they were glad to take it. Said they would use local churches "help the needy" programs to disperse it.
Sometimes stuff doesn't technically "fall off the truck" but the end result is the same. He always tries to find someone who can use the products if he can....hates to see anything go to waste when someone somewhere could maybe use it.

Who knows what disease you could get. I do, the same one you had last week, except you may have developed anti-bodies to it, if you hadn't washed them off. JimMarillion wrote:Except by using the SoClean machine you are not actually cleaning your equipment... Even they admit as much.amess wrote:Spend the $300 on the SoClean machine. Hassle free-just dump the whole mask in the compartment and wala--done. Time is money--and trying to clean it in a tub or basin is just not worth it. The mask should absoutely be cleaned otherwise who knows what disease you could get. Since I am new to this I clean mine every day. This of course may not be necessary.

I was down all day yesterday with some kind of bug.
Hurt all over, no appetite, hurt to move, no nausea, etc.
Slept it off---18+ hours, pretty much gone today.
I am so in awe of my immune system!
I refuse to insult it by unnecessary sanitizing.

We r cleaning the mask and its hose only. The entire mask set up including its hose goes in. Its cleaned by ozone. Not cleaning the machine and its hose.

Yes, yes, this is THE reason why I have not stopped XPAP. Since I use it I am almost no more sick.Goofproof wrote: I'll take a few breaths, been on XPAP 12 years, after the first year, stopped play cleaning my equiptment, I only wash, sanitize after I get over a infection, which is not often, less often than before XPAP. Or is it that I stopped cleaning it ? ? ?
Any one else having noticed not getting sick anymore after stopping cleaning XPAP ?

Disinfectant is for cleaning the TOILET, --inside, mostly.

It is good news for anyone considering "charlatan" as a career choice.
Plenty of sheep, waiting to be fleeced--the only requirement is a complete lack of conscience.

Actually cleaning too much has brought us sooo many thickness, allergies and resistant bugs to disinfectants... this is the sad part. Children born by cesarean are born too clean and have more trouble later with their immun system fighting back. If searching for harmful and diverse microorganisms, there are lot more in the houses than outside.chunkyfrog wrote:It is good news for anyone considering "charlatan" as a career choice.

Maybe Both! It does make a difference, but time marches on, we still wear out, but hopefully slower, and maybe we can enjoy the ride better, Jimesel wrote:Yes, yes, this is THE reason why I have not stopped XPAP.
