longer hose for a Pilairo mask

Post by grybeard77 » Tue Sep 05, 2017 11:19 am

I need an extension hose for the Pilairo mask to reach the end of my heated hose that hangs from my hose management hanger. I don't want to change or remove my set up to enable hooking my hose end to the short Pilairo mask. Any ideas?

Would 18 inches be enough?

This would be my first choice if I was wanting to extend the hose.

I actually saw one in a donation box once and it was nice. I didn't keep it but instead passed it along to someone who needed an extension. Don't think any adapters would be needed as one end is sort of "female" and the other sort of "male".

Just what I need. Thanks very much. I had looked in CPAP.com but didn't see this one.

That hose is one that a lot of people added when the DreamWear was released and while people liked the over the head hose placement things were a bit too tight for comfort.
I think everyone who got one ended up being quite please with it. It is more flexible and more lightweight than the cheaper generic hoses but sometimes you know get what you pay for. Besides it's not horribly expensive and if you watch cpap.com for promos you can usually find a free shipping one sooner or later.
If I go back to the DreamWear Gel pillows I will get one. I figure I can always use it for other stuff and if the added length and lack of heating causes rain out then I will put a sock or something on it to insulate it. I normally don't have much rain out issues until the winter anyway.

Right now there is a Labor Day sale. Free ground shipping within contiguous US states with Promo code LABOR17.
Don't remember how long it lasts but I just got the email notice about 30 minutes ago about it.
