Strange symbol on cpap machine

Post by Rachey83 » Thu Aug 31, 2017 8:49 pm

Ok so I currently don't have a sleep specialist since I lost insurance and I don't have money to have cpap checked out. It has a strange symbol that I can't find in the informational packet. It has a 5 and a clock symbol and then switches to two rectangles with arrows pointing up in between. It's been like this for years. It seams to work fine but I want to make sure it is ok. Has anyone else seen this symbol? Thanks

What kind of machine do you have?

There's like half a dozen or more Remstar Auto models...the Remstar part tells us nothing...that was used for over 15 years on each and every one of all the machines that Respironics ever made.

Can you find a model number?
Does it say M series anywhere? Or System One anywhere?

If you go here and figure out exactly which Respironics machine and then request the manual...there may be an explanation for the symbols in the manual.

Or call these people because they work on and are familiar with all the Respironics models.

They are really nice people.

Model numbers are usually located on the bottom or back of a machine.
Remove water tank before looking--PLEASE!
Write these numbers down, and then tell us.

But she didn't name you. Anyway, can you answer the question about the meaning of the symbols described by Rachey83?

True genius does not share information--just flaunts the "fact" that they, and only they, have it.

OP proved she can read - so: not helping! - please try again and show at least some brilliant engineering.
