I just recently started using the APAP mode on my machine and I'm starting out with a small range. On last night's data, I noticed on SH that several times the pressure jumped up to almost the max for a short time and then dropped right back down but there is nothing showing at all in the event flags (except one time it had one VS). But it looks like something might be going on in the Flow Rate graph at one of those times. (I'm referencing anything from 6:15 forward. I realize before this time the pressure rise is responding to those FLs.) Any thoughts?

I always feel horrible. So I'm coming at this from an FL standpoint and other areas not related to OSA. (My AHI is always great and I don't usually have much snoring. Sometimes RERA. Always have some FLs.) When I saw the pressure rise and no corresponding event flags...just wondering!
Thanks!

Re: Odd (to me) SH Data
Yeah...it went up and stayed up for a little while because it sensed something it didn't like.
It could very well have been (and probably was) Flow Limitations of some sort. As you see there was a couple flagged right at the beginning of that little increase. Maybe there were even others that didn't quite make the FL name tag criteria.
So not odd to me at all.
Could have been related to REM sleep maybe...could have been related to maybe being on your back...or a little of both.
Now as to whether these are related to feeling crappy.. You and I both know that there can be other things that play a big factor in the crappy feeling.
My guess would be that these minor FLs probably aren't the culprit as much as we might want to blame them because they are easily killed.
But you can try killing them to see if it helps or not. Just need probably a little more pressure as a baseline...maybe 0.5.

.
Thanks, Pugsy. I figured it was something like that. I have a feeling it's not connected to the way I feel, but just turning over the stones so hopefully I won't miss anything. I'm looking at some things outside of OSA too. It might end up being something I just have to live with, but do want to look at a few things before settling at that.
