the last posts were me sorry.

And for all the caps typing people that thought it necessary to yell at me to make your point. Why?

It's like you are scolding a child who knows no better. I am not ignorant.

If you happen to be MD's or specialize in the field of sleep disorders than I apologize, you have every right to scold me.

Yes I do think you can tell the difference-the mucous can get stuck just at the wrong place-I can't bring it up and I can't swallow it-a sip of water tips the swallowing mechanisms in the right direction. When I awaken from an OSA obstruction-I am rerely aware of the obstruction as it has cleared during the awakening-I'll occasionally gasp and the obstruction is relieved (XPAP eliminates that) but I'd never reach for water or even have time to before its gone.

I can feel my soft palate and adnoids rattling when I snore. Sometimes I am aware it is happening and am asleep at the same time. Hard to explain. Those are the exhale obstructions I was speaking of.

Is that stage 1 sleep??? Still somewhat aware-relaxed enough to snore-don't know if I'm awake or sleeping.

Hmmmmmmm. People try to help and offer suggestions, and you get all irate.

And I was wrong. You didn't say you had "dry mouth". You said you had "dry throat". I can only assume there is a big difference. MY BAD.

Opps. Guess I wasn't supposed to capitalize either.

Think I'll just quit trying to help.

OK I guess I am done here. I apologize for any offended.

Linda if I was irate trust me, you would know it.

I do think that the veterans of the board might wanna realize that just because someone doesn't have 10,000 posts does not mean they are ignorant of OSA.

I asked questions, for which I received answers. I also received what I took as preaching and treating someone as though they are ignorant, which had nothing to do with the question asked.

I mean not to piss in anyones cheerios, but I like to take care of business and not beat my head against a wall with things I already know.

To all who offered responses thank you.
