Airsense 10 Autoset - Ramping Issue
I have an Airsense 10 Autoset that I have been very pleased with. I was camping for four nights and I didn't take the CPAP with me (no electricity). When I put the mask on last night, the pressure immediately started to "pulse" and wasn't a smooth ramp at all. I have the ramp set to AUTO, however it was jumping around from 1.4 to 4.8 consistently. I unplugged the machine and plugged it back in and that did not resolve the issue. Any ideas?

Try turning ramp off and see what happens.
You have to go into the clinical setup menu to turn ramp off. The manual explains how to do it.

If it still jumps around crazy like that then you probably should be alerting whomever you got it from that something isn't right.

What was jumping from 1.4 to 4.8? Not the pressure....wanichols wrote:I have an Airsense 10 Autoset that I have been very pleased with. Yes - the pressure was jumping from 1.4 - 4.8. I had the mask on for literally about five seconds when it started doing that.LSAT wrote:What was jumping from 1.4 to 4.8? Re: Airsense 10 Autoset - Ramping Issue
Thanks for the response! I will double check it this afternoon, but am 99.9% positive it was showing anywhere between 1.4 - 4.8. The thing that was so odd though was the pulsations of air.
