korean spam is back
Re: korean spam is back
I have zapped a couple of the Asian spam today that were from a guest posting...so not logged in member.
I don't know what security might or might not be in place for guest postings but so far I don't think whomever is doing this has fixed up a spam bot for guest posting.
As always if you see a registered forum member posting spam...remove it and also let Carolyn know so that she can go in and not only make the final removal of the spam but also purposely block the offender from doing it again.

I will spam remove another forum member's post if it is blatant spam.
Like earlier today a new member and first and only post was a link for walk through metal detectors. That got zapped quickly.
I don't remove member posts just because I don't agree with what they said or if I dislike them personally or they are just being an ass
UNLESS it has foul mouth language that makes my stomach turn and it takes a lot of 4 letter words to get to me.
When the entire post is nothing but cursing and foul mouth attack against someone.
I can probably count on one hand the number of time I have done that in the past 8 years. It's gotta be really, really bad before I will do the spam removal on a forum member's post.
While you have been an ass and have resorted to personal name calling...I haven't removed any of your posts no matter how much they make my stomach churn.

Re: korean spam is back
There's a difference between standing up to someone you perceive is bullying you - and becoming one. There are times I agree you stand up to what you perceive to be bullying - but you also cross the line a LOT and become what you claim to be standing up against. Something to think about. I seriously doubt you will. Most people in this world REFUSE to self evaluate. They can't face the facts regarding their own behavior.xxyzx wrote:=======Pugsy wrote:I will spam remove another forum member's post if it is blatant spam.

paleface is a little less annoying
overall it seems to have worked
but if they crank it up again
then they will get it again
first rule of bullies is to stand up to them
or they will never leave you alone
And I know, I know - I'm a libtard. Don't bother with your rant back at me.

I ran across an interesting quote today by Eric Sevareid: "Better to trust the man who is frequently wrong than the one who is never in doubt." This is good guidance when deciding on who to trust for advice.

I like that. My personal feeling is that we ALL need to question what we believe based on evidence and facts put before us. None of us is so smart or perfect that we are never wrong.Okie bipap wrote:I ran across an interesting quote today by Eric Sevareid: "Better to trust the man who is frequently wrong than the one who is never in doubt." I had to face this a few years ago when MY belief system did NOT mesh with my friends and family. Some girls took my son's cell phone out of his backpack while he was not with it and their attempts to access it locked it up so badly that it took me almost two hours on the phone with Verizon to get it unlocked. I felt what the girls did was vandalism, of sorts, and they should be held accountable for their actions. I mean, they did go into my son's personal property, then semi damaged other property (it was 100% useless until Verizon figured out how to get it unlocked).
None of my friends or family agreed. They all said that it's just what kids to these days and it was harmless (my 2 hour ordeal on the phone didn't seem harmless to me!).
But I had to accept, and concede, that what I felt and believed wasn't right. Because the evidence in front of me said that what I believed was wrong.
Sadly, a large percentage of the people in the world (not just here) REFUSE to look at their beliefs or behavior.
So, am I ever wrong? Oh yeah - a LOT. But at least I am one of those people that can look at myself in the mirror and say "Sister, you blew it on this one!!"

Re: korean spam is back
The hardest course I had in my master's program was Value Systems. The course emphasized the concept that everyone has a value system and it most likely is not the same as yours. The term paper for this course was the hardest I ever wrote. We had to describe our value system, and state what was the basis for that system. The only research was introspection. Since the papers were so personal in nature, they were not returned. The instructor read the paper, graded it, then burned it so someone else could not get hold of it. If we wanted a copy of our paper, we had to make it before we turned it in. This was before word processors were common, and PCs were unheard of.

Way back, before carbon paper and manual typewriters. I go back to hammer chisels and rock. JimOkie bipap wrote:The hardest course I had in my master's program was Value Systems. Now that I think of it, I am PROUD to be a libtard!
I will sincerely wish the same sex couple well.
I adore my mixed-race granddaughter, who is mentally handicapped,;
and hungry children break my heart--
no matter what their parents' politics or economic status.
THANK YOU for pointing out that we should never be ashamed to be decent.

There should be more introspection here and more in life, period.Okie bipap wrote: The term paper for this course was the hardest I ever wrote. We had to describe our value system, and state what was the basis for that system. The only research was introspection.
When things don't go your way it's time for introspection again.
How many here had to look up introspection to find out what in means?

Yup -- he really means that too. The man? is mentally ill and needs to be on serious medication. In my experience, when someone says "kill" anyone... they really mean kill everyone who doesn't think or look like I do. That was Hitler's thinking too.
Anyone who replies to or gives this person any help at all is out of their ever lovin' mind!

My introspection says you are a conceited, arrogant old man that refuses to admit that he might occasionally be wrong and hates anyone that doesn't agree with him.
