Yes, it does.

My last post was #1066. This will be #1067... in the same thread.

Lucy, If you are going to continue your silly trolling, you might want to learn the terminology. A thread and a post are two different things.

Huh? You need another cup of coffee. Although, if you think you know what you are talking about, then I suppose it's all good.

But not posting over and over in the same thread, if you post between on something else then it adds the next time. Post Counts are a poor idea, just a game, for the kids. Jim

Also post count is updated in your profile as it happens, all your posts show it as
# 1067. I tried to find your # 1066 it's no longer is in this thread everything is marked # 1067. Don't ask me why I waste my time, just curious I guess..

Not sure why you waste your time either. Either way, you are wrong. Post count changes each time you post whether you post in the same thread or a different one. Try it with one of your own.

I do agree that post counts are for children. I wish the Goodmans would do away with that.

I notice that some people don't show number of posts. I tried to figure out how that's done, to no avail.

If the OP is still here, there are features built into many PAP machines that will turn them on automatically when you put the mask on and start to breathe. If you neglect to breathe the feature won't work, but it will no longer matter.

So step one, set the auto on function to on.
Step two, never sit down or lay down without putting your mask on. If you sit in a room other than the bedroom you may need more than one machine.
If you get out of bed during sleep time (bathroom break), Lay the hose across your pillow so you can't fall asleep until you put the mask on.

Many if not all PAP machines have a clock built in to monitor compliance. Many also have various alarms built in. The OP's idea simply requires another stable alarm in the menu. So a simple contact with the manufacturer of the machine, and the OP will discover that the manufacturer does not consider us their customer. Only the doctors, insurance companies and DME distributors are their customers.

I just had another great idea. A PAP machine that automatically replaces itself with the latest brand new model every 59 months, with no intervention from us, not even financial.

Have you visited the Sleep Apnea Board? They are very patient and friendly group. I am a Newbie too, and I have to say that I find this forum a bit intimidating.
