USED to be on DreamStation..now on S9 VPAP ADAPT
21 years on CPAP

And, please help the Alzheimers patient to keep using their cpap, as long as it does not cause undue anxiety.
Once dementia kicks in to where it's a fight, it is cruel to force treatment.

Well, it's interesting. However, remember the aluminum dust up years ago? It was a RESULT of Alzheimer's or Autism and not a cause. Took a bunch of studies to prove that. I would say the same will be here - the Alzheimer's came first and the disturbed sleep later. Hard to say as I haven't done any real research on it. There are zero cases of Alzheimer's in my extended family and one case of dementia (likely from a stroke). Lots of folks who don't sleep well however.
