newbie curious about sleepyhead data

Post by stephrjern » Thu Jun 29, 2017 10:21 pm

My husband started treatment for apnea on May 11th, on a ResMed Airsense10 machine and the AirFit P10 nasal pillows. He switched to an F&P Eson 2 nasal mask about three weeks later because he didn't feel comfortable with the nasal pillows. So he's been on CPAP for about a month and a half. He averages an AHI of 3-5 and while he does feel better mentally (less brain fog), he still feels pretty tired physically. We'd like to see if we could get his AHI down even further, just to see if there is a difference in how rested he feels at a lower level. I've been looking at his data in sleepyhead but am still so new to this, am not sure what exactly we should be trying to adjust, based on the data. The one thing we have adjusted is his min pressure from 5 up to 8. I'd love to get some feedback if anyone has any thoughts?

I am so grateful for this forum, I feel like we've both already learned SO much!

Looks like the min pressure still needs a boost. I would raise it to 9 for a couple nights and then to 10.
