I'll DITTO that!
Depending on your budget:
You could also find out which mask your friend has, and order nice covers for the straps on the mask from pad-a-cheek, or a fleece cover for the hose. A pack of filters for the xpap machine would also make nice stocking stuffers. Ask about a pillow, such as the papillow... OR...
a new machine or mask! .

Stocking stuffers
Here's some ideas for stocking stuffers for those who have discovered the delights of taking the hose:
A tube of AyrGel
A gallon of USDA-Prime boutique distilled water
Pantyhose
A roll of duct tape
A scalpel for radical Hybrid mask fixes
A hacksaw blade for mask "deconstructions"
An Activa/Vista short hose
Scuba-mask glue
A roll of J&J cloth or paper surgical tape
Some strips of self-adhesive 1/4" Velcro
A couple of those teal blue Swift buckles
Ear plugs
Chapstick
A good sponge to clean up HH leaks
WATERproof Minwax epoxy stain
A baking tin to contain HH leaks
Dr. Bronner's pure castile soap
Seventh Generation dish-soap
And finally: PATIENCE, COURAGE, UNDERSTANDING AND GOOD CHEER!
Happy holidays!

Well, I wouldn't have said it, but since the question was asked...
Apparel with sleep apnea sayings on them that can be found on Amazon by searching SLEEP YOURSONDEMAND or on ebay by searching for SLEEP APNEA SHIRT in ebay store YOURSONDEMAND.

(shamelessly suggesting her own items)
P.S. I don't recommend the apron at this time - changing suppliers for higher quality. T-Shirt sizes from children's to 4XL.

Kathy,
Thank You for that web site!!
Question: Are the Sleep Apnea shirts silk-screened or embroidered?
(too bad that there's not more noticeable mention of Apnea; maybe you could make that suggestion to them?) I like the Night Rider! And maybe the "Masked MAN" could be offered as "WOMAN"??? Your suggestions would carry more weight?
They would also make great nightshirts in larger size - going to get one!
I also like the ASL items! Need one that says: "Are you talking to me?" . I am SO happy that I worked with a married couple who taught us who were interested in learning ASL! It's come in handy many times, and have made some new signing friends also! ...but they need to slowww down for me!!
I don't think we're being too "shamelessly suggesting our own items".
I hadn't been aware of that site nor its items. Thanks!

Reply to questions
Offerocker,
Thanks for your comments and suggestions - will pass them along. That ASL line you suggested is great. Some of the shirts say OSA Awareness on them. The OSA and OrganArt organ donation awareness items (flowers designed from pictures of transplant organs) are the only designs I've got up there, but it's a family affair. Shirts are commercial grade heat transfers.
Thanks again.

Answer to Questions
College Girl - Yes, some shirt styles are available in 5x. May not be as much variety in style of shirt, but at least the basic tees do. Whatever the site says. Thanks.
Offerocker - Forgot to mention, you can order a shirt with your favorite personal catch-phrase on it, or personalize an existing one as long as it is not licensed or too objectional.

And if you want to do one that is objectionable there are high quality sheets of iron on transfer stuff, as well as jet printer iron on transfer paper that is quite durable.
