My nose does not like warm air because my nose usually feels stuffy by itself. I have improved it with FLONASE and a well-positioned Breathe-Rite strip.
However, many people WANT humidity, with its associated warmth, to soothe their nasal passages from the CPAP air. I can't imagine how that is tolerated. I was told my intolerance is psychological, though it seems natural and logical to me to want to throw off something in your sleep that is affecting the air quality (like when your nose touches the bedding, and you reposition yourself).
Not going well
Re: Not going well
How do you know most people want humidity? Or need it, depending on where we live, or the time of year, etc? We're all different, Dave... and all have different issues, nasal or otherwise.
