New to cpap

Need help learning to sleep.
Problems:
Smell of vinyl (chemical sensitivity)
Blisters on nose bridge caused switch to pillow type under-the-nose mask
Water collecting in tube and causing a racket on the hose valve
Mouth opening causing leak and dryness
Insomnia
Crushed upper lip
Headache

For this problem which we call "rain out"...it's condensation in the hose and/or mask...see this thread posts #2 and 3 for various options depending on the machine and mask you are using.

Ok. Just turned the heat up to 68. I had it off to prevent extra vinyl odor. We'll see if it is an acceptible trade.
