AS10 Talking To Me
AS10 Talking To Me
I have noticed about once every night my new Airsense 10 will beep or make some kind of noise for just about 1 second. Then it doesn't do it anymore the rest of the night. At first, I thought someone was texting me on my cell phone (my phone beeps when I get a text) but it couldn't be that because I had it "do not disturb". I'm inclined to believe it's some kind of alert from the machine regarding my mask. Any idea what this could be, I didn't see a setting anywhere for "mask alert". Perhaps it's reminding me to exhale or something.

Re: AS10 Talking To Me
I've had mine alert when the power connection in the back of the machine or to the power block from the wall is loose.

I would say just once a night, at least that's the only time it's woke me upxxyzx wrote:gregnga wrote:I have noticed about once every night my new Airsense 10 will beep or make some kind of noise for just about 1 second. get the clinic manual and check
you will want to have it for reference in the future anyway
surprised your users manual does not mention it
i dont have the manual for your device but
makes me wonder if it is calling home like ET
could your clock be off and it thinks its noon the next day ?
is it about once a night
or is it does it anymore as in exactly once a night

I verified last night that the current date and time are set correctly. Last night I just happened to already be awake at 3am and the machine issued an audible beep-beep-beep. I did have my mask on so it wasn't a mask alert. I did not see anything in either the users guide or clinical manual that explains when the data is transmitted, if, in fact, that is what it is. All I know is that the machine has woke me up several nights this week by making these noises in the middle of the night.

Re: AS10 Talking To Me
I searched the manual, https://www.respshop.com/manuals/ResMed ... %20her.pdf , and could find nothing.
I suggest calling the ResMed Service Center - http://www.resmed.com/us/en/consumer/contact.html

Re: AS10 Talking To Me
I called their customer service# they said to have the DME run diagnostics on it and that it shouldn't be making any beeping or any other kind of noise and it could be defective.xxyzx wrote:
you should check resmed
it could be the power company is switching generators off at night when the a/c load is gone and the spike in power is causing it
