Yes, the pressure settings determined by the in lab titration (assuming you had one) will be included in the report/record from the titation sleep study.
It will be a separate report from the home study report.
Did you have a sleep study in the lab where they put the mask on and used the machine?
If so, when was it done...recently or 12 years ago?

I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.
Re: New machine setup
Yes I did home sleep test first and dr gave me those results
and then I did the one in the lab wearing a mask but I dont have those results I will ask for them.
What is best Bipap or Auto Cpap?
now I have a cpap and not helping me, its the old machine
Ill come back when I know more,, getting one of those headaches now.. was looking at machines and that confusing too,, I read not all ppl like the auto pap and that was what I asked for lol now thinking Bi pap without spending hugh bucks
What do you think?

Re: New machine setup
It's going to depend on what your suggested pressure settings are.
If they are in the teens I would suggest looking at bilevel (bipap is a trademark name from Respironics).
Bilevel machines are really pricey though.
Actually I would suggest you look at the ResMed AirSense 10 Autoset...it's an apap but has cpap mode plus its EPR exhale relief makes it sort of like a little mini bilevel machine.
Assuming of course your diagnosis is plain vanilla obstructive sleep apnea....get that titration report before you go buying anything though.

Re: New machine setup
Oh, BTW...it shouldn't take this long to get Medicare approval. I got mine in half a day.

Re: whats better Auto pap or Bipap?
along that line, I quite like the admonition on sleeping pillsMssDarla wrote:For settings look for something that says "recommendations" or "diagnosis" or "summary".
They will usually make some sort of brief statement about what was done and recommendations.
The one recommendation that always got me "avoid driving while sleepy"
"may cause drowsiness, alcohol may make this worse, use care when operating vehicle, vessel or dangerous machinery"
YA THINK?????
