Post by vdol52 » Mon Nov 27, 2006 3:20 pm

What is the best Card Reader for my machine which is a Remstar Auto CPAP with CFLEX and where can I get one. Also does the software come with it? If not where do I get that. Is it difficult to use???

Our host site cpap.com has the cardreader and software. You can buy it together or seperately.

I got mine from cpap.com. I'm not usually very good with these things so I was ready for trouble. Installed it myself and no problems. I can't believe how easy it was! It was one of the best cpap investments I made.

Does the MAKO card reader come with the correct drivers for use with the Respironics Smartcard?

President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

The appropriate card reader driver (actually an install program) is included on the Encore Pro software CD. Shouldn't have to download any others.

No the MAKO drivers are not for Encore Pro, they used to have the Encore Pro Driver listed for download.
The correct driver for the Mako card reader from two-factor.com is still available for free download on the page describing the DT3500 Desktop USB Smart Card Reader:

http://www.two-factor.com/shop/index.php?productID=115

The correct driver download is the one called "Installer for EncorePro:" followed by a link to an exe file.

Anyone who buys the card reader from two-factor should simply throw away the CD that comes in the box and use the "Installer for EncorePro" link to install the correct driver for the use with the Respironics Smart Card, unless, as Den said, you have already bought the Encore Pro software. The correct driver comes with the Encore Pro software.
