I have been using a Nasal Aire II for about 4 weeks now. I do not have a problem with the noise it makes. (I know this is a personal thing.)
A couple of nights ago I went to sleep on a new pillow with it and could not handle the noise. So I put on the hybrid instead.
Then I experimented.
My conclusion was that the type of pillow makes a difference of the noise I hear.
With the hybrid the noise was not an issue with the memory foam pillow (down like comfort).
The same pillow, was unbarable with the Nasal Aire II.
The Nasal AIre II noise was ok with my regular foam pillow, made of peices of foam. Not memory foam.
I am wondering if the memory foam being a solid pillow or being dense does not let the noise (vibrations) out of the pillow so it is heard more.
Anyway it may be something to consider when you find an interface with tubing touching the pillow, making to much noise for your liking.
Have others noticed this?
