Life of a CPAP

I have been using the hose setup on my Comfort Curve for just over a year now. I have changed the nose pillows and cheek pads once but not the hose. It a year too long or about right for the life of a CPAP hose? What is the life of a hose? Thanks?

One of mine is 1.5 years old & has electricians tape covering puncture holes.

It works fine for me.

I do run listerine (mouthwash) & water thru the hose at least once per month.
