Number 3. Thanks, Ellie.

AltPwrPuffer: The 12V cord - is that different than the cord that comes with it? Is there just bascially an "outlet" on the marine battery that I can plug the cord into, or do I have to actually do some sort of "wiring"? (I'm very leary of this).

Thanks!

You need the cable to power your unit, which can be found here: https://www.cpap.com/productpage/respir ... -cord.html

Then you would need this to plug into, it hooks to the battery.

You use the clips to attache the plug to the battery, the plug the unit power cord into it, plug the other end into the 12 volt port on your unit and away you go!

You may be able to purchase the cables at Radio Shack cheaper but the ones llisted would avoid any questions.

A marine deep cycle battery that they use for trolling motors should provide a considerable run time for just the unit, get a plastic battery box to keep it in and it should make a clean backup system that you could plug into in the event the power goes away.
