Thank you for all your helpful responses. I am not a troll, but I really would like to know how that list appeared. When I first registered, I wanted to use the username "rainbowpoet", but a message came back and said it was already used. So I changed to "rainbowmoon" and that is when this list appeared. Last night's post was honestly my first, and it's a tad disconcerting to come someplace for support and right away have folks label me as a troll.
I appreciate all the suggestions for overcoming the claustrophobia. I will work with my sleep psychologist on desensitization exercises and hopefully that will give me enough courage to at least repeat the initial study and then forge on to the C-PAP trial.
I am seeing an ENT and she is concerned about my high risk for heart attack and stroke due to morid obesity along with the sleep apnea. I do have a medical background, but am currently disabled due to multiple medical issues.
I hope to become a part of this supportive community, and hopefully my e-mail to cpap@cpap.com will solve the mystery of the "also posted as" list.
Thanks to all who offered helpful suggestions! I wish you all restful nights
and peaceful days.
Susan

rainbowpoet,
You're properly registered now, you managed to PM me, and I PMed you back.
The "troll" thing was really an unfortunate twinge reaction - the forum admin has been attempting to leave guest posts as a valid option, while unmasking one or two registered users who use "guest" for, um, being slightly nasty sometimes. This is not working perfectly, and someone mistook a software glicht for "trollity" (couldn't find a better expression for that). Just disregard it, and I hope Johnny Goodman will find a solution to that software problem.
Don't let the troll business worry you - everyone makes an honest mistake once in a while, and that's all it was.
Welcome aboard.
O.

I don't know your background, but we welcome newcomers. If someone made an honest mistake, hopefully you can work around it.
Many of us here have more than sleep apnea going on, I am one of them. So if your problems relate to sleep apnea, we will try to help you.
Hopefully you will stick around to see most of us are nice people.
Best wishes either way....

Installing Software is like pushing a rope uphill.
I have Encore Pro 1.8.65 but could not find it listed
under software.
I LOVE the SV.

Rainbow, are you a Tom Clancy fan?

The problem was that a list appeared a mile long with other names it looked like you used (and it turns out the forum has an undependable glitch). The first time I saw it I thought Snoredog was correct in his assesment that all of us work for Innomed.
