I have to agree with a couple things and add at least one of my own.
Keeping the pillow clean is critical. If I don't give it a quick rinse with hand soap (don't anyone get excited, yes I use whatever scented hand soap is in the bathroom and I am on the original swift pillow 5 months now) it gets "slipery and gives me trouble
I don't wash anything else, headgear, tube etc but that darn pillow needs to be clean to stay on.
I too play with the barrell. Usually once before going to sleep is enough. And the same for the swivel.
The hose needs to be supported. Can't have it tugging from gravity or it will cause leaks. Some like a hook near the headboard, I am lazy and just throw it on me under the covers and use a safety pin to pin a piece of tape to the bed sheet (tape is just around the tube in an appropriate place.
Bottom strap goes under the hair to keep if from riding up as someone mentioned above.
Need to check straps occasionally as they need adjustment.
And the final one is I use an ace bandage as a chistrap but it supports the swift at the same time. Makes it much more stable.
I am happy enough with this that I am not looking for another setup at all. Would like to try comfort lite 2 but not enough to give up my swift.
