Sore peeling nares

I thought I'd mention you can become allergic to Neosporin/Triple Antibiotic Ointment, and if you've been using it regularly for more then the 7-10 days the package guidelines suggest without improvement, you probably need to see your doctor about it, one way or another. I was having the worst time healing up a big scrape on my shin, until I mentioned it to my dermatologist when I saw him for something else. He took one look at it, told me what the problem was and gave me an antibiotic cream I can use- and it healed up within a few days finally. It sucks having to buy prescription antibiotic cream & not use the OTC stuff, but it sure makes a difference.

Pay attention to the impetigo comments. I am a 3 year user, 2 years problem free. (Just found this site) The last year I have had impetigo 3 times on my forehead, right wear the nasal mask rests. Go to the Dr. the minute you have an intense itching because the first time in just a couple hours time I had an inflamed and painfull swelling the size of a golfball. My Dr., who also is my sleepguy, said it was not the mask but probably a small scratch. I do not beleive this as I had it 2 more times but no major swelling because I reacted quickly. The cure is muriprocin intment which is prescription. I simply use this if I feel it coming on (not often). Note: If you let it go, the inflamed swelling gets scaley and can scar. Again, I firmly think it is the gel node on my forehead which is also depressed from the evernight pressure. I am looking now to try the new gelmask with a broader head piece. Any comments???? Also looking for best place to buy online.
