I now have all the components...
REMStar BiPap Auto w/Smart Card
Encore 1.6i
Card Reader
MyEncore...
Everything works... at least I got data.
Now what.
I got all kinds of neat charts from MyEncore, but not sure what they all mean. Other than the Daily Report, I'm not sure if it is good or bad.

I wasn't sure I was reading it correctly.
During my sleep study, My AHI was 92.1, Obstructed Apneas was 66.5
Looking at that, and then at what the machine is saying, it appears this is more sucessful than I thought.
I have some leak issues with the mask. Also have the hose popping off the mask at night 2-3 times a night. Need to fix that as it wakes me up every time.

You can watch your leak rates by looking at reports in two places with Encore Pro.
To see you largest leak look at page 3 of the detailed reports. Then look at the daily details report for the date in question and it will give you an average leak rate. This you can compare to your mask leak rate to see if there is any excessive leaks.
You numbers look great. How do you feel? What was your titration pressure from your sleep study? You are using pretty high pressures and at those levels leaks are hard to control. Since you have an auto bipap you can figure pretty close your ideal ipap and epap settings. There are tons of discussions on the forum talking about how to bracket your ideal pressure.
Good luck with your leak fixes.

Compared to before I started, its a different world. Used to take hours to fall asleep without any satisfaction that I was actually getting any sleep. You numbers look great. How do you feel?
Originally they had me at 27/20. However the entire sleep study I was on my back, something I don't normally do. I had the ENT lower the pressures which enabled be a better machine (now I can see what is going on) and I even lowered them myself a bit. What was your titration pressure from your sleep study?
Yes, with the higher pressures, it was harder. The new lower pressures make it a lot easier and the Bipap Auto seems to use even lower pressures. You are using pretty high pressures and at those levels leaks are hard to control.
I think that is already being accomplished.Since you have an auto bipap you can figure pretty close your ideal ipap and epap settings. There are tons of discussions on the forum talking about how to bracket your ideal pressure.

The Bipap Auto is setup with EPAP min 16cm IPAP max 25cm PS 8 Flex 1 Ramp 00:00 Start 00:00
I seem to hover around 19-20cm on the high end and 16-17cm on the low end.
This seems to match my expectation in that I sleep on my side or sometimes on my stomach, and never on my back. Sleeping on my back requires much higher pressures and I've not slept that way in years (without Xpap).
After being originally set at 27cm - 20cm for more than a couple months, these new settings and the machine are much easier to deal with with it appears very good results.
The only result that I am not getting from the machine would be O2 levels. I would need to get an O2 sensor to see that.
