Your point about sub-therapeutic pressures when using EPR makes alot of sense to me and thanks for the information about how the EPR works.
But in my case, I was originally titrated to 7 - 14 and have always used the APAP function until very recently. I went down to a lower pressur of 9 for my CPAP trial because of aerophagia and knowing that 9 was probably too low for me. So increasing my pressure up to 10.6 is probably just bringing my pressure back into the therapeutic range where it should have been.

I think it's the EPR that's helping my aerophagia not the CPAP mode. I think that I have a tendency to swallow air when having to fight air pressure when I'm exhaling. With the EPR I don't have to fight to exhale.
