Cpap Cruise or trip

Post by rock and roll » Sun Oct 08, 2006 8:39 pm

Well,...another member told me this was like herding fish in the sea and it appears this was an accurate statement. I still think the idea of a cpap cruise or resort get together would be a lot of fun and I think most agree that it would be great to get to meet one another. There was a lot of interest in it when Lori proposed it and I did get a great many surveys back. Unfortunately, most had their own timing, area of interest and budget in mind and it quickly fell apart. I have not had enough response in order to do a group cruise. Again, I think it would be a shame to drop this. I will watch for deals and will post them occationally until we find one that works. If anybody has an idea, I would be happy to get the cheapest possible price for everybody.

I also would be honored to help anybody on the list with their private travel plans, be it a cruise, resort, hotel, etc. now or in the future.

I also have a vested interest in learning all the cpap related regulations for travel around the world and would be glad to help anybody along those lines as I am first and foremost a fellow cpaper.

Please allow me to be the first to thank you for your work as a Border Collie trying to herd fish without a net. Herding a bunch of CPAPers through the cruise ship maze IS a bit interesting. Thanks for continuing to arrange something.

Maybe having a date established first would work. Then people could plan. There will NEVER be a date acceptable to all, and getting the good deals that you did was a bit of brilliance. I am so sorry that this did not work out.

Perhaps the resort concept would be a good one for the first time, then make it an annual thing, alternating cruises with resorts. Thank you again, and keep us posted.

Be kinder than necessary; everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

Earl, I admire you for all your work. I'll definitely look forward to being part of some future gathering you organize. You're a good'un!
